*Light encoded for your awakening journey.*

Have you ever Googled God? I Google everything, so I decided to do just that for this post, because, after all, the Great Googley- Moogley knows all (perhaps Google= internet version of God?? And don’t be sending me any comments that comparing Google to God is blasphemy. It’s just a little joke. Although they do both start with a capital “G,” I’m just sayin’.). God does have many names, but we’ll come back to that a little later. So what did I find when I Googled “God?” Well, I found that Merriam-Webster says:
“Definition of god
1 capitalized : the supreme or ultimate reality: such as
a : the Being perfect in power, wisdom, and goodness who is worshipped as creator and ruler of the universe
b Christian Science : the incorporeal divine Principle ruling over all as eternal Spirit : infinite Mind.”
I clicked on Wikipedia and found that, “In monotheistic thought, God is conceived of as the Supreme Being and the principal object of faith.”
Neither of these things was very surprising or enlightening. We all know that God is “the Bomb Diggety” along with being omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. No surprise there, but then I found that God looks like Elon Musk. God help me (pun intended)!!! Yes, some psychologists at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill asked the faithful to select faces that looked most like God to them from several pairs and then made a composite face from those pictures chosen. The conclusion was that it looked like Elon Musk. Actually the conclusion was that humans have a tendency to think that everyone and everything looks and acts like them. God is no different; therefore, God is a forty-something beardless white guy. Just like in the “olden days” God was a white-haired and bearded old guy who looked pretty wise and composed for wearing only a strategically placed robe.
The psychologists called this “egocentric.” Our society today is nothing but egocentric. You just have to look at all the selfies on social media to see that is true. Forty-something clean-shaven white man, indeed. I personally liked God as played by Octavia Spencer in The Shack, but that’s just me (and BTW, I’m a middle-aged white woman). Our society is so egocentric that we have gone so far as to create God in our image, rather than remembering that we are created in God’s image. Now that is some blasphemous shit right there. God is Love, Light and Energy. God is not made of flesh and we do not look like God physically. We have forgotten that our true selves are spirit, not our physical bodies. We ARE created in God’s image and that image is Spirit. Our true essence is our spirit or soul. We are spiritual beings who happen to have a physical body.
There are as many opinions about God as there are people on the planet. Everyone’s image or idea of God is quite personal. So, you don’t have to agree with me or believe my version of God. I have no recollection of ever seeing or personally meeting God. I’d wager that neither have any of the people who have painted God or thought that God looked like a human or thought that God was vengeful and wrathful and was going to come down from Heaven to smite your enemies for that matter. Although, Aunt Jeannie’s blog is about weird wonderful and wacky things, so who knows, maybe those people do remember what God looks like.
So, if you really wanted to know about God who would you talk to? You’d have to ask an expert, wouldn’t you? And that’s what I did. I asked Archangel Michael about God. After all, his name means “he who is like God.” So without further ado, here’s a guy who needs no introduction, My Man, Michael and his thoughts on God:
“God is Light, Love and Energy… God is everywhere with everyone even though everyone calls God by different names—Holy Spirit, Yahweh, Allah, Creator, Light of All, Universal Creator, Source, Love, Alpha and Omega, the One True Entity. God loves all beings of the universe. It matters not what they look like in physical form. All living things are made in God’s image—Light, Love and Energy. This is what you call your soul. God is not human and does not look human. The physical body is simply a shell most appropriate for your environment on earth. See how a red blood cell is a biconcave disc-the most efficient shape for carrying oxygen through your physical body-perfect design by the Perfect One. God loves all beings and all creatures of the universe no matter who they are and what they do. No act is so heinous that God stops loving. Beings only turn their back on God. God never turns away from us. There is always a spark of light in all living things no matter what their crime. The tiniest spark can be turned in to a flame so that no one is lost in the “eyes” of God. No one is unworthy or unredeemable in the “eyes” of God. God loves all of creation and wants us all to return to home. We were dispersed in to the darkness to learn and grow and return to the Light, our Source. Nothing pleases God more than the return of one to the fold. We are all energy. We are all the same. We are one all connected by Source and to Source. That connection is never lost. There are those who forget about it or turn their back on it, but there is still a connection between Source and all, no matter how far we may wander off the path. God is pleased with everyone and everything. All is as it should be. Returning to Source is the goal, the greatest goal of all. There is no shape. There is no form. Just like electricity has no shape or form. It just flows from one connection to another bringing Light and warmth to all indiscriminately. The best of God is Joy and Love. There is no more to say.”
It’s no longer a secret where I got my opinion now, is it? I completely agree with Michael. There is no more to say. You’ve said it beautifully, Michael. Thank you so much!!
Thanks for reading!
